Looking around and staring at the room numbers, I eventually found the right door.

I didn’t say anything and just stared at her as she walked past before I shifted my attention back to the room.

Then, slowly turning my head, I stared at the foot that was resting next to my head.
I closed my eyes for a brief moment until I opened them again and looked down.

" Something snuggled against my foot.

" I closed my eyes once more and covered my face with both hands, feeling the start of my hangover.
