The impulse was greater than usual and bitterness rolled beneath his tongue.

His chin clenched as he repeated opening and closing his hand to control the power behind his grip.

It was the same eyes he saw when he first met her that was quite different from an average young dragon’s gaze.

And he would have no choice but to lie.
