And now, she is getting framed for the crime of breaking the Spirit Shard—a weapon connected with one's soul—of the main heroine.

This trial is the beginning of Valerie's downfall and he, Austin, would play a massive role in this event.

Looking at himself in the mirror, Luke couldn't help but scoff, "What a scumbag I am to support a different woman while my fiancée is in trouble…"Valerie is Austin's fiancée, and not only Austin takes the Protagonist's side today, but he also insults Valerie in front of everyone before breaking off the engagement.
