Crushing flags and claiming the Villainess

After leaving the Headmaster's office, Valerie and Austin decided not to return to the class but rather head towards his office to discuss the matter.

Austin still has no idea which General would be attacking the human realm this time, however, considering the scale of destruction the foreseer has mentioned, it must be one of the four Generals.

There was a thin chance for the Orc Lord to strike again this soon since his awakening was not completely last time and forcing himself to take the charge again—this time with proper planning—would only cause him his downfall.

Austin, never even once, thought about the Elven King.

He will only arise from his grave when Astaroth wakes up.

So there was still some time left.

Succubus Queen is strong but not enough to take down a whole nation...

unless she charms a few Kings and Generals here and there and forces them to kill each other.

But it was a highly unlikely scenario.

So the one who is left, and someone who appears around this time in the story is the Parasite Chief.

It was never mentioned how Valerie defeated it, but since she went to the other side to annihilate the General, she must have taken him by surprise.

'But the Prophecy...

it didn't shift from the previous timeline?

' The prophecy stated that a warrior with long violet hair, who possesses a Tool of Destruction would be the end of the incoming disaster.

Originally, Valerie became the death of the Parasite King, but things are different in this timeline...

yet the prophecy remains the same.

"Are you worried?

" Valerie suddenly asked, seeing the serious expression on him.

Austin nodded, "Dragging you into this, out of the blue...

something feels off about it.

"Valerie also felt that the Council depending on her, when they have seven S-ranks in possession was...

confusing and slightly suspicious.

However, "We need to be there to ensure that the monstrosity is dealt with there and then," Holding Austin's hand, she added, "Otherwise, the next nation it would attack would be Eryndor.

"Ademerg was the neighboring country of Eryndor.

The country by the mountain comes to the North of Eryndor and Hener was in the North-eastern region of Eryndor.

So there was a high chance for the demonic army to proceed toward Eryndor if they ended up swallowing Ademerg.

"Thinking about world safety...

is slightly easier than tackling history, I guess?

" Austin joked, trying to uplift the mood.

Valerie giggled at the comment, as they headed towards the boy's dormitory—when suddenly,"Austin!

" An urgent voice arrived from behind, urging the duo to halt in their path and turn towards the source of the voice.

Rudolph and Rhea rushed towards them as the black-haired male asked, "What happened?

I heard the Council members are here?

"Austin was surprised, "How did you even find out?

"Rudolph smirked, "I got my resources.

Anyway, what did they talk about?

Is something the matter?

"Austin hesitated in revealing, glancing at Valerie.

The violette gave a slight shake of her head as if to say 'Let's not tell them,' so Austin said,"I believe you two should stay away from this-""Lost trust in me or you believe I ain't worthy?

" Rudolph's quick retort took Austin by surprise.

Rhea added, "We know that it's an emergency.

That's why those officers are here.

I know that we might not be helpful, but we are worried about you two.

"Austin was rendered speechless for a moment...

he felt helpless in the situation.

That's why Valerie took charge, "Come with us but keep the information only to yourself.

Rudolph, you can't even contact your father about it.

"The taller boy's brows drew closer but he gave a firm nod.

The four of them headed towards the boy's dormitory—the two females took the safer route to escape the warden by jumping into Austin's room first.

Inside the office, Sebastian was already present, resting four cups of hot coffee on the table.

"I suppose you already know?

" Austin asked.

"I know that the Council officer said something to offend both you and the lady here.

" Sebastian couldn't hear what they discussed, thanks to the Headmaster's strict protection at his door, but the aura he felt from the room clearly said that they had a heated conversation.

Austin exhaled a weary sigh, "Let's not talk about it.

Every person working for the Council assumes themselves to be the King of this world.

"Now Rhea was curious to know what happened, but considering they seemed annoyed about remembering the conversation, she didn't push them.

Once everyone was seated except for Sebastian, Austin revealed what they got to know, "The Kingdom in the North, Ademerg, is about to get attacked, and the foreseer has prophecized that Valerie would be their savior.

"The three of them didn't have a good reaction, as Rudolph instantly asked, "Out of all the S-ranks, why was Valerie picked?

"Austin sighed, "That's what I was thinking about.

"A tense silence descended upon the room, every one running their heads in different directions before Sebastian suggested,"Young master, my knowledge about foreseers tells that the outcome they are is of that scenario where the foreseer doesn't see the future.

"Austin frowned once he realized what he was saying.

But Rhea wasn't as intelligent as him so she asked, "What do you mean?

"Sebastian explained, "The future tellers see that timeline in which they didn't see the future and everything happened naturally.

So if we consider that, then possibly all the S-ranks, soldiers, officers would get slaughtered before the demonic army would head towards Eryndor...

and once that happens, Lady Valerie would be left with no other option than to take the charge.

"A horrified expression marred Rhea's face....

annihilation of all the S-rank warriors?

Even the thought of it made her feel hopeless.

They are the pillars of humanity who give them the assurance that regardless of who crosses the Sea, they will shoot it down before it can reach the general masses.

And to think, a being would arrive that could slaughter each of those Pillars?

The tension in the air was rising.

No one could say with utmost certainty what the foreseer meant by their prophecy.

No one could tell what kind of being was preparing to injure the human race.

Just when Austin started to fall into the pit of 'What ifs', a familiar voice broke his daze,"I can help you.

"Every eye turned towards the lady with short violet hair who sat on Austin's chair while sipping the coffee that was originally served to Austin.
