Immortal in The Apocalypse

After a moment of silence, Huang Yihang motioned for Xiu Wu and Zhu Lin to sit down. After the two of them sat down on the sofa in front of him, Huang Yihang poured a glass of water for them and said, "I think I know who invited Captain Xiu."

Xiu Wu raised his eyebrows slightly and said, "I’m not interested in that matter. I’m here today because my wif– friend wants to collect the debt you owe her."

After hearing what he said, Huang Yihang glanced at Zhu Lin and thought to himself: ’Did Captain Xiu just want to say that this woman is his wife? But why did he suddenly change his tune? Did he want to keep this a secret to protect her?’

Not knowing that his slip of tongue caused a misunderstanding, Xiu Wu looked at Zhu Lin and said, "Xiao Lin, just say what you want to say to him."

Nodding to Xiu Wu, Zhu Lin turned to look at Huang Yihang and asked, "Why did you send a group of assassins to kill me?"

As soon as these words came out, Huang Yihang was stunned. He just thought about the reason why Xiu Wu deliberately concealed his marriage relationship with this beautiful woman and how important she was to him.

But the next second, the same woman actually accused him of sending a group of assassins to kill her. Isn’t this just trying to kill him? As a businessman, he will not bear such losses!

After listening to Tu Tu’s words, Zhu Lin looked calmly at Huang Yihang and said, "Since you already know who the person who sent the assassin is, I will give you thirty minutes to bring that person over."

"What on earth do you want me to do here? Don’t you know I have an important appointment?" Lei Jiamin said angrily as she stepped into the presidential suite.

Just when she was about to complain to Huang Yihang again, her eyes fell on Xiu Wu’s handsome face. Her expression changed instantly and she said sweetly: "Brother Huang, you have a guest here, why didn’t you tell me?"

Huang Yihang secretly rolled his eyes at her while trying to maintain a business smile to hide his disgust for Lei Jiamin. He gestured toward Xiu Wu and Zhu Lin and said, "This is Captain Xiu Wu and his... friend."

Noticing the slight pause when he introduced Zhu Lin, Xiu Wu squinted his eyes and looked at Huang Yihang. Sensing his gaze, Huang Yihang smiled at Xiu Wu, then looked at Lei Jiamin and said, "Miss Jiamin, they are here to see you today."

Hearing that Xiu Wu came to visit her personally at Lie Huo Base today, Lei Jiamin shook her long silky hair proudly. She raised her chin, looked at Xiu Wu, with an obvious invitation in her eyes, and then asked in a sexy and hoarse voice: "Brother Xiu, what do you want from me?
