Tu Tu shrugged and said, "How do I know? I never left your side. The last time I saw them was five days ago."

"Are they afraid of us so they won’t come anymore?" Zhu Lin asked after a moment of silence.

Tu Tu looked at her sad expression and asked, "Master, do you miss them?"

Hearing Tu Tu’s question, Zhu Lin nodded and said, "I do miss them a little bit. They are my first and only friends, and we get along very well. I like them better than other mortals."

After listening to her words, Tu Tu nodded in understanding and said, "Master, if you miss them, you can go to find them instead of waiting for them to come to find you."

Zhu Lin thought for a while, frowned slightly and said, "But my eldest brother said that it is inappropriate for a young lady to visit a young man."

After pondering about her words, Tu Tu tilted its head and asked in confusion, "But Master, don’t you treat them as babies? There is nothing wrong with a young lady visiting babies, right?"

Tu Tu nodded and said, "Exactly. Then are you still going to the night market?"

Zhu Lin shook her head and said, "I will go find them tonight. It has been five days since we last met. I am worried that something might happen to them."

After she said this, Tu Tu looked at her and said, "Master, I have a question."

"What question?" Zhu Lin asked as she stood up from the floor.

Tu Tu looked at her as she took out her ice silk cloak and asked, "Do you also regard Xiu Wu as a baby?"

Hearing this question, Zhu Lin’s movement of wearing her ice silk cloak paused. Seeing her frozen in place, Tu Tu said, "I knew it. You couldn’t see him as a baby like how you see Ji Yang and Tan Wei, because you know that there is a high possibility that he is the Devil God."

After a long silence, Zhu Lin continued to wear the ice silk cloak and said, "There is not enough evidence at the moment, so don’t rush to a conclusion. What if he is not the Devil God? I don’t want to be wary of my friends."

Opening the door, Zhu Lin saw several soldiers standing behind Mao Yan. Mao Yan saw her and said, "Good evening, Miss Zhu."

Zhu Lin nodded to him and said, "Good evening. What kind of wind brought you here?"

Mao Yan smiled and said, "I’m here to buy water and food from you."

Seeing that she seemed ready to go out, he asked, "Can you spare some time to have a talk?"

She nodded, stood aside and said, "Please come in."

Entering the apartment, Mao Yan couldn’t help but glance at Zhu Lin thoughtfully. As far as he knew, only those main operating areas and the inner ring area had access to electricity.

And thus, Zhu Lin cannot use any electronic applications unless she uses a generator or solar panels to generate electricity. Since Mao Yan didn’t see any solar panels or generators installed outside, he believed Zhu Lin had a secret way to maintain the temperature.

After a while, he couldn’t restrain his curiosity and asked, "Miss Zhu, may I ask, what did you do to keep the temperature inside your apartment?"

Zhu Lin didn’t want to tell him, so she motioned for him to sit down and then entered the kitchen. Mao Yan was a little disappointed knowing that she didn’t want to tell him, but he still had a smile on his face. Just as he was looking around the apartment searching for the secret of the temperature difference, Zhu Lin came out of the kitchen carrying a tray.

She looked at Mao Yan and the four soldiers, and said, "Please have a drink."

Looking at the bright red and fresh watermelon juice, even Mao Yan couldn’t help but swallow. Unfortunately, when his dry throat moved, he felt a stinging sensation in his throat.

"Thank you, Miss Zhu." He thanked Zhu Lin and took a glass of watermelon juice from the tray.

When he touched the cold glass, he was stunned for a moment and looked at Zhu Lin again. Holding the cold glass, Mao Yan was even more sure that Zhu Lin could use a refrigerator. Thinking that it would be too wasteful for her to use ice to cool the drink, he subconsciously ignored that Zhu Lin could create ice using talismans.

Seeing that the soldiers stood motionless behind the old sofa where Mao Yan was sitting, Zhu Lin raised her eyebrows slightly and asked, "You guys didn’t drink watermelon juice?"

The soldiers’ eyes lit up when they heard his words. They took a glass of watermelon juice one by one and thanked Zhu Lin. After drinking the watermelon juice, Mao Yan and the soldiers felt much better.

Putting down the empty glass, Mao Yan said, "Miss Zhu, in addition to coming to do business with you, I also came here specially to give you this."

He took a small box out of his pocket and placed it on the low table. Zhu Lin looked at him for a few seconds, then took the small box and opened it.
