Ming Ye looked at Si Ming with wide eyes and said in a low voice: "Impossible! The Heavenly Emperor is the most selfless and benevolent ruler. Why did he destroy the Six Realms? What could he gain by doing this?"

Si Ming looked at him with pity and said, "Because he wants to resurrect the Ancient God Yu Yi at the expense of everyone’s life. I know it’s hard for you to accept this, but this is the truth."

After Si Ming finished speaking, Ming Ye thought for a while and said, "I understand."

Leaving these words behind, he walked up to Zhu Lin. Si Ming scratched his cheek and murmured in confusion: "You don’t seem to understand what I just said."

Seeing Zhu Lin kneeling on the ground and groaning in pain, Ming Ye’s eyes darkened. He then looked at Wei Jie and asked, "High God Wei Jie, what should we do now?"

Wei Jie knew that Ming Ye decided to support them, so he said, "Please escort the Heavenly Emperor to go to the God Killing Terrace to wait for his punishment."

Ming Ye clasped his fists and said, "Yes, High God Wei Jie."

After saying that, he walked up to Ling Zhen and knelt down in front of him. Looking at the man who existed at the same time as him, Ming Ye said, "Ling Zhen, you shouldn’t treat her like this."

Ling Zhen smiled and said, "Ming Ye, I just want to protect the Six Realms. If I let you down, please forgive me."

Ming Ye sighed and said, "Let’s go."

Ling Zhen, escorted by Ming Ye and the heavenly soldiers, took one last look at his younger sister and then left the main hall. After they left, Wei Jie and Zi Quan looked at each other. They nodded and formed a hand seal, and then injected divine energy into Zhu Lin’s body to help her control the chaos energy of the Ancient God Yu Yi.

After sacrificing half of Wei Jie and Zi Quan’s cultivation, the chaos energy of the Ancient God Yu Yi finally merged completely with Zhu Lin’s newly formed divine core. When she opened her eyes, Wei Jie and Zi Quan were the first to kneel on the ground.

The two of them lowered their heads and said, "Welcome back, Ancient God Yu Yi."

Upon seeing this, all the gods and goddesses knelt down and said in unison: "Welcome back, Ancient God Yu Yi."

Zhu Lin stood up with the support of the God of Medicine and said, "I am Yu Yi, and I am also Zhu Lin. From now on, please call me Zhu Lin instead of Yu Yi because the Ancient God Yu Yi should have died a long time ago."

Wei Jie smiled and said, "After you died, the Devil God killed the Eleven Ancient Gods and then came to my Time Palace. He gave me a pearl that contained all your power and asked me to protect it. When I think the time is right, I should give your power back to you."

"Do you think now is the right time?" Zhu Lin asked again.

Wei Jie nodded and said, "Yes."

"Why?" Zhu Lin asked curiously

Hearing her question, Wei Jie smiled and said, "Because the Devil God got his heart back, and the Celestial Realm couldn’t be without a ruler."

She thought for a few seconds and said, "According to my memory as Yu Yi, I should have died when the ancient killing formation destroyed my soul. Do you know how I was reincarnated and born as a high god?"

Wei Jie waved his hand, and a water mirror appeared in front of everyone, and then he said, "Ancient God Zhu Lin, you should see it for yourself."

After saying that, he made a hand seal and then tapped the surface of the water mirror. In the next second, ripples appeared on the surface of the water mirror, and images appeared on it.

Inside the water mirror, Wei Jie looked at the man wearing black clothes and covered in blood. In his arms was a woman who appeared to be dead. He took out a small pearl and said, "High God Wei Jie, please return it to my wife when the time comes."

Wei Jie took the small pearl in his hand and asked, "Devil God, do you really want to sacrifice your heart to send her to the circle of the reincarnation?"

The Devil God nodded and said, "My heart has died together with her. So what is the use of it now? It’s better to use it to bring her back to me."

Looking at his calm expression, Wei Jie sighed and said, "Even if you can resurrect her, she won’t be the same person. She won’t remember you or your past, and she might become your enemy. And without a heart, you won’t have any emotion, including your love for her. The future I see now is full of tragedy. Even though she was born to kill you, do you still want to do it?"

The Devil God smiled and said, "Yes. If I can die in her hands, I will not regret it."

After saying that, the Devil God turned into a black light and left the Time Palace. The scene in the water mirror changed, and the Devil God landed on the Heavenly Lake. He put the woman on the ground, kissed her gently, and whispered: "Lin’er, don’t be afraid. I won’t let you die. We will meet soon."

As he said this, his tears fell to the corners of the woman’s eyes, and it seemed that she was crying too.
