Just as Tan Wei and the others went to the conference hall to discuss the results of today’s operation, the guards and soldiers saw Ji Yang coming over, and they all breathed a sigh of relief.

"Brother Ji, after you and others left the base this morning, these people came one after another. Following his gaze, Ji Yang looked at them and found those people seemed to be here specifically to cause trouble. He thought momentarily and asked, "Why don’t you tell them that if they want to enter our base, just follow our rules?"

The guards’ leader sighed and said, "We have told them to follow the procedures, but they insist on entering and refuse to follow our rules."

Hearing his answer, Ji Yang frowned slightly and said, "I understand. Go and notify others to prepare for an emergency."

The guards’ leader nodded and said, "Yes, Brother Ji. I will go right away."

Seeing him walking towards the security building near the entrance of Sector E, Ji Yang walked towards the gate. He stood behind the fence and observed the situation carefully.

As soon as he said this, the others realized that he was right, and they shouted while pushing the soldiers, trying to break through the barricade.

Following his words, a middle-aged woman with a fragile child said, "You are a soldier. How can you let us starve to death and freeze to death without doing anything to help us? You are too cruel! If my child dies because you don’t let me in, I won’t let you go!"

As the three fanned the flames, even the supernatural beings watching from afar started speaking up.

"Let us in! Let us in!" Another supernatural being yelled as he tried to break through the barricade.

Standing behind the crowd, one of the captains of the supernatural beings team looked at the other captains and said, "Given the current situation, we can’t go in without letting them inspect our bodies."

Hearing his words, a younger captain said, "You are right. But since most of us are injured on the way from B City and H City, I don’t think we can pass the inspection. These people won’t let us in if we are injured."

The only female captain beside him said, "Then what should we do? I know that all the bases we visited so far refuse to let us in because of our injuries. But this Wu Lin base is the last base we can reach with our remaining supplies. Although the temperature is getting warmer, walking under heavy snow still consumes a lot of energy. Our supplies can only last for two days with the current weather."

After hearing what she said, the younger captain looked at the others and asked, "How about we talk to these people? I heard that the people from the Wu Lin base are kind and not prejudiced like people from other bases. They even take in zombies who come to seek refuge."
