Before Ji Yang could catch up to her, Zhu Lin jumped on the flying sword and flew away quickly. Looking at her disappearing figure, Ji Yang cursed. Knowing that he was powerless to do anything about Zhu Lin and Xiu Wu, Ji Yang decided to deal with the emergency at their base first.

He looked at the sky and whispered: "You two must come back safely."

Flying away from the Wu Lin base, Zhu Lin used her divine sense to find Xiu Wu’s location. After a few minutes, she felt his aura in the distance. Zhu Lin followed his aura and flew for more than two minutes before finding him lying unconscious in a small cave.

Looking at his pale, frostbitten skin, she quickly jumped off the flying sword. She waved her hand and put the flying sword back into the ice flower pendant. While rushing into the cave, she took out a small jade bottle from her spiritual palace.

Without wasting any time, she opened the jade bottle, poured out a pill, and forced Xiu Wu’s mouth to open. Seeing that his whole body was cold and stiff, Zhu Lin made a decision quickly. She untied her red cloak, hugged Xiu Wu tightly, and covered the two of them with the red cloak.

Realizing that Xiu Wu’s body temperature was still very cold, Zhu Lin looked at the unconscious Xiu Wu and whispered: "Please don’t get me wrong. I have no other choice."

After saying that, she approached him and kissed his lips. She pried his lips open with her tongue, directly transferring her divine energy and body heat while sucking in his cold breath. As she continued to exchange his cold breath with her warm breath, Xiu Wu’s body slowly warmed up.

Two minutes later, Xiu Wu’s body temperature slowly rose, while Zhu Lin’s body temperature became lower and lower. Not long after, Xiu Wu’s eyelids moved slightly and his eyelashes trembled. After a few more seconds, he slowly opened his eyes, and what he saw shocked him.

Looking at Zhu Lin’s beautiful face so close to his, Xiu Wu was stunned. Feeling the warmth from the intersection between their lips flowing into his body, Xiu Wu came back to his senses. The moment he realized what she was doing, he felt anger and deepened their kiss to stop her. Xiu Wu’s passionate kiss stunned Zhu Lin and forcibly stopped what she was doing.

Zhu Lin patted his arm and wanted to push him away, but Xiu Wu did not let her go but bit her lip as punishment for her reckless behavior.

Hearing her soft exclamation, Xiu Wu let go and gently licked her lips. He stared into her eyes, opened his lips, and asked in a low voice: "What do you think you were doing? Do you think I would be happy if something happened to you because of me?"

Zhu Lin glared at him and said, "I want to ask you the same question. What do you think you are doing?"

Although Zhu Lin had doubts about his identity as the Devil God, Xiu Wu’s current body was just an ordinary mortal’s body. He could die like any other mortal, and she knew she didn’t want to lose him again. Even if he doesn’t remember their past.

When Zhu Lin heard him call her ’Lin’er’, her eyes widened with disbelief. Seeing her expression, Xiu Wu’s heart tightened and he thought to himself: ’Sure enough... She still hates me.’

He retracted his hand and moved away from her, pretending not to notice anything. He picked up the red cloak that fell to the ground and helped her put it on. It took him a while to tie the cloak up properly because his fingers were frostbitten. Enduring the pain and itching, Xiu Wu carefully adjusted the cloak for her.

Seeing that she was still looking at him in a daze, Xiu Wu withdrew his gaze and stood up holding onto the stone wall. Unfortunately, his body was still stiff and hurt from frostbite. When he took a step, he staggered and almost fell to the ground, but a pair of slender arms suddenly hugged him tightly from behind.

Xiu Wu was startled by the sudden warmth on his back. He was stunned for a moment, patted her arms around his waist, and said, "I’m fine. We have to go back before the snowfall gets heavier."

Xiu Wu waited for a while, but Zhu Lin still didn’t let him go. He turned to look at her and said, "Xiao Lin, it’s time for us to go back. Can you let me go?"

Before he could coax her to let go, Zhu Lin said, "I won’t let go anymore. Xiu Wu, I know you are the Devil God. You are him, right?"
