Immortal in The Apocalypse

Before the boy could clearly see the situation around him, he heard a very clear, familiar, and calm voice coming from the bedside.

"You just woke up and your injuries haven’t healed yet. Don’t move your body too much."

After hearing what she said, the boy turned to look at her. Unlike others who would be stunned when they saw her face for the first time, the boy’s eyes widened in disbelief, and tears fell from his eyes like pear blossoms.

Seeing his strange reaction, Zhu Lin blinked in confusion and asked, "Does your injury still hurt? Why are you crying?"

Zhu Lin looked at him, nodded, and said, "Yes. In this world, Shuang has lost the memory of his previous life and he still has a mother in this world."

Shao Yuzi looked at his twin brother and asked, "What is his name in this world?"

"Zheng Jinnan. He is my disciple." Zhu Lin replied calmly.

After a moment of silence, Shao Yuzi reached out and touched Zheng Jinnan’s cheek and said with a happy smile: "Shuang, it’s great that you are still alive."

Seeing that his face was still pale, Zhu Lin took out a few bottles of divine spring water. She put them on the bedside table and said, "You are still too weak to move. Drink these divine spring waters and have a good rest."

After leaving the villa, Zhu Lin followed the crowd and walked towards the farm area. When she arrived, workers had harvested more than half of the crops. Looking at the tall pile of potatoes, corn, and rice, the corners of Zhu Lin’s mouth raised slightly.

Standing there and observing everyone’s reactions, Zhu Lin found some suspicious people in the crowd. Zhu Lin observed them for a while and then went to find Ji Yang. She searched for several minutes before finding him at the administration building near the farm.

Seeing her coming, Ji Yang smiled and said, "Good morning, Xiao Lin. What brought you here so early in the morning?"

"Good morning, Ji Yang. I just came back from the farm and I found a few suspicious people." She said while sitting on the chair in front of him.

Hearing what she said, Ji Yang stopped what he was doing, raised his eyes to look at her, and asked, "Suspicious people?"

Zhu Lin nodded to him and said, "Mhm. I saw them walking around the farm and granary, looking very suspicious."

Ji Yang fell into deep thought after hearing her words. After a moment of silence, he said, "Those people actually dare to send people to our base to steal food. It seems that they are really desperate and can’t wait any longer."

Zhu Lin raised her eyebrows slightly and asked, "Do you know all those suspicious people?"
